We're working with one of New Zealand's leading design and build specialists in water treatment and process infrastructure. As their project workload continues to grow, they're looking for a hands-on Site Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient delivery of projects across New Zealand.
The Role Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll be responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, coordinating installation crews and subcontractors, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.
You'll work across a range of municipal and industrial water projects, including treatment plants, pump stations, reservoirs and process facilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising mechanical installation crews and subcontractors on site
- Coordinating daily site activities and programme requirements
- Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety and quality
- Ensuring work is completed to specification and project deadlines
- Working closely with Project Managers, engineers and workshop teams
- Managing site documentation, inspections and client interactions
- Supporting commissioning and project handover activities
We're looking for someone who enjoys being on site, leading by example and working alongside their team to deliver quality outcomes.
Ideally you'll bring:
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman or Leading Hand
- A background in mechanical installation, process piping, fabrication or water infrastructure
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and site crews
- Strong understanding of health and safety requirements
- The ability to read drawings and coordinate works on site
- A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery
- Willingness to travel throughout New Zealand as projects require
