About Role
This isn’t your average QS gig. Based in Auckland, you’ll join a high-performing commercial team supporting multiple business units, with a focus on waterproofing and roofing. You’ll take charge of cost management across a range of projects, from minor remediation jobs to large-scale multi-trade works. Expect full visibility and responsibility – from tendering and pricing right through to financial wrap-up.
You’ll work directly with project managers, clients, and suppliers, scoping jobs onsite, writing detailed roof condition reports, and building pricing schedules that are sharp, strategic, and profitable.

- Lead QS on waterproofing projects across commercial, maintenance and new build
- Prepare and present pricing schedules and technical statements of work
- Conduct onsite scoping and produce condition and solution reports
- Collaborate with project and delivery teams from start to finish
- Manage financial performance including variations and claims
- Full tender process ownership, from pricing to submission
- Interpretation of technical specs and drawings
- Site visits and scoping for roof and waterproofing systems
- Contract administration and variation management
- Project reporting, budgeting and documentation
- Supporting the growth of future pipeline opportunities

- 3-5+ years' QS experience in the NZ waterproofing or construction sector
- Solid understanding of NZS 3910 and SA-2017 contract conditions
- Confident with pricing, tendering and technical reporting
- Able to interpret plans and specs with accuracy and insight
- Strong communicator who builds trust with clients and site teams
- Tertiary qualification in QS, Construction Management or similar
- Current NZ Driver Licence
