About Role
You’ll play a key role in pricing, managing, and delivering civil and drainage projects from start to finish. Working closely with the Project Manager and site teams, you’ll be hands-on with measurement, tender preparation, valuations, and subcontractor management.With projects ranging from $10,000 to $15 million, no two days will be the same, and you’ll have plenty of scope to showcase your technical knowledge, problem-solving skills, and commercial acumen.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Measure plans to quantify civil and drainage works for pricing and control.
- Prepare tender packs with scope, pricing schedules, and supporting documents.
- Manage valuations and claims, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Draft and issue Variation Orders (VO) and Extension of Time (EOT) notifications.
- Develop Schedules of Quantities (SOQ) for tendering and cost tracking.
- Manage subcontractor engagement, progress, and claims.
- Maintain cost records and assist with final accounts.

- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in civil and/or drainage.
- Strong skills in measurement, tendering, and contract admin.
- Confident managing valuations, variations, and claims.
- Familiar with Candy or similar programmes.
- Clear communicator with great attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
