Project Manager

RWR Construction has partnered with a specialist infrastructure contractor who is looking for a Project Manager to help deliver a range of stormwater, wastewater and drainage projects across Auckland and the North Island.

Projects include both new builds & maintenance projects.

You’ll manage multiple small to medium projects at various stages from planning through to completion, coordinating crews, subcontractors and suppliers while working directly with clients.

This role suits someone who enjoys running multiple projects end-to-end, rather than being responsible for a small piece of a large project.

This is a key position for our client, you will be part of the senior leadership team & reporting into the directors.

Key responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
  • Coordinate site crews, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Interface directly with clients and consultants
  • Manage variations, commercial outcomes and contracts
  • Plan works, resources and materials
  • Troubleshoot technical issues onsite
  • Support design-build solutions where required
Projects include:
  • Stormwater and wastewater infrastructure
  • Pump stations and drainage systems
  • Septic and wastewater installations
  • Civil works associated with water infrastructure
About You:
  • 5+ years experience in civil or infrastructure construction
  • Experience with drainage, stormwater or wastewater projects
  • Engineering qualification, Civil or Mechanical preferred
  • Strong communication and practical problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and site teams
