Project Manager

Our client is an established Auckland construction business specialising in insurance reinstatement and rebuild projects is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join its growing team.

The company delivers both residential and commercial reinstatement projects, with an increasing focus on larger, more complex commercial rebuilds. The business operates a lean model, where estimators secure the work and Project Managers take full ownership of delivery.

The Role
  
You will manage insurance rebuild projects from handover through to completion, ensuring they are delivered on programme, on budget, and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing insurance reinstatement projects across residential & commercial construction
  • Running multiple projects concurrently depending on size and complexity
  • Building and managing project schedules and timelines
  • Coordinating subcontractors, health & safety
  • Managing inspections, compliance and documentation
  • Maintaining communication with insurers, loss adjusters and stakeholders
  • Delivering projects profitably and efficiently
About You:
  • Project management experience in insurance reinstatement or rebuilds
  • Experience across residential and/or commercial construction
  • Strong knowledge of repair scopes and building code compliance
  • Proven ability to manage multiple jobs and subcontractors
  • Highly organised with strong communication skills
