Project Manager

We’re partnering with a well-established, NZ owned project management consultancy that has been delivering projects for 30+ years. They’ve built their reputation on steady growth, strong client relationships and consistently delivering quality outcomes across commercial, public, healthcare, infrastructure and industrial sectors.

With continued work across Auckland, they’re now looking for an intermediate Project Manager to join the team.

This role offers genuine variety, you’ll work across a mix of vertical building projects including:
  • Education facilities
  • Council and public sector assets
  • Commercial developments
  • Industrial and aviation-related projects
You’ll take ownership of projects from early feasibility and planning through to construction and completion. It’s true consultancy project management, coordinating stakeholders, maintaining programme and cost control, managing risk, and ensuring the project stays aligned with client objectives.

Key duties & responsibilities:
  • Leading projects end-to-end across the full lifecycle
  • Coordinating consultants and specialist advisors
  • Managing procurement processes and contractor engagement
  • Overseeing programme, cost, risk and reporting
  • Engaging confidently with clients, governance groups and stakeholders
  • Ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are met
  • Building long-term client relationships
About You:

You’ll bring solid consultancy-side Project Management experience within New Zealand and a proven track record delivering vertical building projects. You’re organised, commercially aware and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

You’re also someone who operates with professionalism and steadiness — confident in stakeholder discussions, capable of facilitating conversations, and able to represent the business credibly with clients.

Experience in healthcare or public sector environments would be advantageous, but strong vertical construction delivery experience is essential.
