About Role
This Project Manager role is all about owning delivery from start to finish. You’ll be running commercial painting and coatings projects for large-scale builds – stadiums, hospitals, retail precincts, and complex fit-outs.

What You Will Be Involved In
• Project delivery strategy and programming
• Subcontractor coordination and site leadership
• Cost tracking, forecasting, and variations
• QA processes and client reporting
• Health and safety compliance across all sites
Key responsibilities include
• Managing site teams and supervisors
• Ensuring spec compliance and high-quality finishes
• Client and stakeholder liaison
• Running site meetings and maintaining project documentation
• Solving onsite issues before they impact delivery
About You
You’ve either already stepped into PM work or you’re a very experienced QS ready to step up and take the lead. You’re commercially savvy and confident navigating the challenges of live construction environments.
• Previous PM experience and strong QS background ideal
• Experience in commercial construction, interiors, or fit-out
• Able to read drawings, manage scopes, and lead teams
• Familiar with pricing, cost control, and contracts
• Confident communicator – can hold your own with clients and consultants
• Full NZ Driver’s Licence
