This is an opportunity to take ownership of the front end of complex commercial projects, ensuring they're commercially sound, buildable and positioned to deliver strong margins from day one.
Working across commercial, education and modular projects, you'll lead the pre-construction process from feasibility through to handover. You'll work closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors to challenge assumptions, manage commercial risk, influence design outcomes and make procurement decisions that protect profitability.
This is a role for someone who enjoys being involved before site starts. Someone who understands that estimating is only one part of the equation, and that the real value comes from making smart commercial decisions that carry through the life of a project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading estimating and pricing strategy
- Managing procurement and subcontractor negotiations
- Reviewing commercial risk and contract conditions
- Influencing design to improve buildability and commercial outcomes
- Coordinating consultants and stakeholders through pre-construction
- Managing the transition from pre-construction into delivery
