About the Role
This is a pivotal role combining Health & Safety leadership with HR support .
Your focus will be embedding safe systems of work, conducting site audits, managing incident investigations, training, and ensuring compliance with legislation. Alongside this, you’ll provide people support through onboarding, inductions, and performance processes.
It’s a hands-on role that requires initiative, resilience, and strong engagement with crews. You’ll also work closely with the directors, providing professional leadership and helping shape systems and culture as the business continues to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HSE audits, training, reporting & compliance systems
- Drive safety culture across teams & project sites
- Conduct investigations, risk assessments & safety meetings
- Manage HR processes: recruitment, onboarding & reviews
- Support leadership with tender & compliance requirements
- $120–140K salary range + ute + phone

- 2+ years’ HSE experience, ideally with HR exposure
