About the Company
This national infrastructure and maintenance business plays a crucial role in keeping communities connected to one of life’s most vital resources. With a strong focus on water services, they’re committed to safety, sustainability, and the wellbeing of their people and the environment. You’ll join a team that’s passionate about what they do - and it shows in the culture.
About the Role
This is a high-visibility, people-first health and safety role covering sites from Auckland through to Wellington, including New Plymouth, Stratford and Masterton. You’ll be based in Auckland and reporting to the Head of Health & Safety, providing support across multiple teams and regions. There’s a strong emphasis on coaching, mentoring, and building meaningful relationships on the ground - this is not a desk job.
You’ll be the type of person who thrives on variety, isn’t afraid of jumping on a plane for a couple of days each month, and knows how to balance strong H&S principles with a practical, solutions-focused approach. You'll also play a key role in national H&S projects, monthly reporting, and supporting site leaders in creating a culture of care and accountability.
