The team is tight-knit, down-to-earth, and driven by quality, both in how they deliver projects and how they work with each other. They’re committed to doing things properly and keeping the bar high across the board.
The Role
You’ll split your time between visiting sites to scope damage and preparing accurate estimates back in the office. You’ll be out on the road a couple of days each week, walking through damaged properties, meeting homeowners, capturing photos, and figuring out exactly what’s needed to bring things back to standard. Then you’ll pull those scopes into quotes and work alongside the project delivery team to get jobs underway.
Hands-on experience in the construction industry is a huge plus here, they’ve found that people who’ve been on the tools, worked as builders, or had exposure to physical building work are better at identifying what’s required, understanding sequencing, and pricing things accurately from the start.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience in estimating or quantity surveying – ideally in insurance, remedial or light commercial work
- Hands-on building background or solid understanding of construction methods
- Comfortable meeting homeowners, scoping onsite, and working with insurers
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Organised and practical – able to juggle multiple jobs and keep things moving
- Qualification in construction or quantity surveying, or actively working towards one
- Enjoys being part of a team that backs each other and values good outcomes over cutting corners
If you’re looking to step into a role that blends technical skill with hands-on site exposure and want to be part of a business that values its people, this could be a great fit.
