About the Role:
You will be responsible for producing high-quality CAD drawings and BIM models for renewable energy and infrastructure projects, supporting project delivery from concept through to construction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create detailed CAD drawings, BIM models, and design documentation
• Develop coordinated cloud-based BIM models for project collaboration
• Prepare concept designs, mark-ups, and construction documentation
• Assist with project planning, detailing, and technical documentation
• Ensure all documentation complies with AS/NZS standards
• Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and project teams
• Manage drawing revisions, updates, and document control
• Support continuous improvement of internal BIM and drafting systems
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Engineering preferred
- Qualification in CAD software and/or electrical drafting
- Minimum 4 years’ CAD drafting experience
- Strong BIM modelling experience using Revit, BIM360, SketchUp Pro & Layout
- Experience with renewable energy software such as PVWatts or PVSyst advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
