Working alongside an ambitious Managing Director, you'll lead the Hawke's Bay branch, strengthen client relationships, build the team and drive the next stage of growth. While the business already has an established presence in the region, there is significant opportunity to rebuild momentum, expand services and create a high-performing regional operation.
The role
As Branch Manager, you'll be responsible for both the commercial and operational performance of the Hawke's Bay business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the Hawke's Bay branch and driving business performance.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Leading, mentoring and growing the local team.
- Managing branch profitability, budgets and performance.
- Working closely with the Managing Director on strategic growth initiatives.
- Helping expand the branch's capability and service offering over time.
We're looking for someone who enjoys building businesses, leading people and creating long-term client relationships. Ideally you'll have experience within civil infrastructure, utilities, underground services or construction.
You'll bring:
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Proven business development and relationship management skills.
- Experience leading and developing teams.
- A hands-on leadership style.
- The ability to identify opportunities and turn them into results.
- A genuine desire to build something over the long term.
