About the Role
Based in Albany, this is a development role with real future potential. You’ll support the end-to-end delivery of fit-out projects – mainly for DHBs and aged care facilities – helping manage subbies, clients, and quoting while learning the ropes from an experienced leader.
You’ll be working on site and in the office, assisting with measurements, procurement, installations, QA, and even packaging for dispatch. There’s plenty of support, mentoring, and space to grow into more responsibility with a clear progression plan.
Key responsibilities include:
- Attending site visits and taking measurements
- Quoting, ordering, and tracking materials
- Liaising with sub-contractors and clients
- Overseeing installations and completing QA checks
- Health & Safety documentation and site protocols
- Supporting tenders and complex installs
You're hands-on, eager to learn, and ready to step into a broader role. You’ll bring:
- Estimation / construction or project coordination experience
- Proven ability to think strategically and plan and execute projects effectively
- Solid communication and people skills
- Physically capable of carrying out on-site tasks
- A strategic mindset with attention to detail
- A clean police record (MOJ check required)
