From early on in his career, Alex has focused on doing recruitment the right way by having honest conversations and building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates. He cares about getting the match right, not just getting it done, which is why people tend to stick with him.

He has worked across a mix of sectors, including property, IT and construction. That breadth has helped him adapt quickly and understand what people need from a move. For Alex, being useful and trusted matters more than being loud. He wants to be the person people call when they want straight answers and a recruiter who genuinely has their back.

Based in Auckland, Alex is big on family and being outdoors. When he is not working, he is usually with his daughter. That might mean coaching her football team, getting to and from sport, or being an enthusiastic participant in ballet practice. He takes his work seriously, but not himself, and brings that same balanced, down-to-earth approach into how he works with people.
